MacSmith is a round lake that is approximately 1.5 miles in length, with many islands and bays to explore. For a smaller lake, it is surprisingly deep, with a big shoal in the central part.
From this shoal, towards an island in the Northwest sector, is where the walleye are found. Bass are found in the lower part and around the rocky shore to the East.
The biggest pike have been caught and released not far out from the dock. MacSmith is a very interesting lake, not too small for a week’s visit, but small enough to get to know in a half week visit too. There is a hiking trail at the very South end of the lake that ends at “The Pothole”, where we have a row boat, more walleye, and pike for those who wish to explore.
$1059 for full week and $1019.00 for the half week.
Groups of 1-2 are $2500 for the full week and $2200 for the half.
